I worked with Ianne and we developed “Give you Love”.

“Give you Love” is a fun 2D platform runner game where the player has half a heart, and she navigates through the game using arrows, collecting hearts, to reunite with her other half of her heart at the end of the game. My role in this game was: Producer and the Programmer. My responsibilities included importing the assets, then writing the code, creating the transitions, testing builds, making the animations in the game, adding sounds and building the exe files for testing purposes.
Our first playtest went pretty well according to me. Both the testers liked the idea behind the game, the functionalities and the features like collecting hearts, and the latching on mechanism. From the playtest, the testers suggested some key ideas for improvement – including more challenges( like some enemies or obstacles), then maybe including more dimensions to the game. Some other small edits suggestions were including sound for the game, and maybe including a flying feature.
The next step would be to improve the game based on the suggestions made by our testers specifically removing the bugs, including the sound in the game, and just add more finishing touches. Overall, me and Ianne had a lot of fun building such a fun game.
